About the Maker

I am from Southampton and have been making jewellery on a bespoke basis for many years. I studied Art and Design at Southampton University and Jewellery Design at Southampton City College. Loving photography I am often inspired by pictures to create designs for new projects, but I find inspiration almost everywhere for my work.

I have a passion for jewellery, and became interested in making it when I could not find designs that I wanted in the marketplace. This led to me creating pieces for myself, my family and some friends. This in turn led to others asking for specific designs to be made for them. So I created the bespoke service, to try to give everyone the chance to have quality handmade jewellery, made exactly the way they want it.

I also have a ready to wear collection including earrings, rings and pendants. These are all available through my online Folksy shop. My designs are suitable for everyday wear and are made to be both comfortable and beautiful. Most recently I have become interested in making jewellery from old silver cutlery, including salt spoons and sugar tongs. I love to give new life to something that has been neglected by recycling the silver to create something completely unique.
